DandyHacks the University of Rochester's annual, student hackathon.
DandyHacks is University of Rochester’s annual 36-hour long hackathon. The event brings together not only college students from different campuses but also tech companies from across the nation. Our event is a free, open event to students and a great way to strengthen the computer science community. We will have prize categories for specific topics as well as the use of technologies, and a general category.

How technically impressive was the hack? Was the technical problem the team tackled difficult? Did it use a particularly clever technique or did it use many different components? Did the technology involved make you go "Wow"?
Did the team put thought into the user experience? How well designed is the interface? For a website, this might be about how beautiful the CSS or graphics are. For a hardware project, it might be more about how good the human-computer interaction is.
Is the project fun? Did you have a good reaction? Is it something interesting that you haven't seen before?
